I am looking at travelling to Paro from India by road end April .. can any one tell me which is the best possible route to go from India to Paro and are there any shared taxis available? what are the charges.
IHas anyone done this trekk is it worth??? Is it very difficult, mainly ythe 4900 m pass??. I've just trekk in Langtang (Nepal), and I'm in my fiftees I do not know if it is worth effort and price or ot is better to trekk in Nepal (Everest base camp....)

i will be in north india and south nepal this year and i want to try and go to bhutan for 5 days. i am looking for the less expensive way possible to do this, and i would love as much as possible to have freedom to be on my own and not on a tour. is that possible? what are your suggestions for some relaxed & economical way of visiting bhutan? thank you so much for your help :)
