With good food, great coffee and desserts, and free wi-fi, it's no wonder the Perkup seems to be Belmopan's in spot. From wraps and sandwiches to soups and breakfasts, the place has a fairly wide culinary bandwidth. Leave room for cappuccino and cake! Open mic night is 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, and Friday is live acoustic performance.

This lively restaurant and bar has a great selection of pasta and other Italian dishes, as well as a few Mexican specialties. Take a seat at the open-air bar or sit inside and enjoy the air-con. Service is friendly but slow.

Just down the street from Pasquale's (away from the bus station), this Taiwanese vegetarian restaurant serves excellent meat-free Chinese food and fresh juices. The owners also run a small shop selling Chinese health and beauty products.

Close to the bus station, this pizza joint has pizzas ranging in size from personal to 12 slice, and all the assorted toppings. Opened by Chicago natives, so you know it's gotta be good.

Food Stalls
For a cheap meal, you can't go wrong at the food stalls just east of the bus station. They serve Mexican snacks such as burritos and salbutes (mini-tortillas, usually stuffed with chicken) as well as Belizean standards such as beans and rice and cow-foot soup.
