Non-Belizeans must pay fees that total US$39.25 when flying out of Belize City on international flights. Of this, US$3.75 is the Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT) fee, which helps to fund Belize's network of protected natural areas. Also included in this total is a US$1.25 baggage handling fee, a US$15 service fee, a US$18 airport development fee and a US$1.25 security fee.
