Lonely Planet review
The octagonal Colibiri house is one of a kind; built from a mix of hardwoods (including bullet tree and sapodilla), the house is fully furnished with treasures from Tibet, Bali, Italy and India. The upper apartment features a downstairs bedroom and living room and a 2nd-floor loft space with a low bed; both floors feature large wraparound balconies. Discounts are available during the low season. Gregarious Stefano (the Italian-born manager of Colibri house) also manages a number of other properties around Placencia; call him for more information.
Our independent authors have visited Colibri House and selected this as one of our recommended apartments in Placencia.
