Lonely Planet review
Ghent's newest and biggest central hotel is the only one to offer an indoor swimming pool (albeit only 4m long). Publicity photos emphasise the palatial 18th-century reception building, but most of the 158 rooms are new with striking interior design, strong colours and lashings of modern art. Steep stairs lead to the hammam/sauna (no extra charge).
The showy champagne bar has a distinctly Las Vegas feel.
Our independent authors have visited Sandton Grand Hotel Reylof and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Ghent.
