Lonely Planet review for Grunwald

A great place for a splurge. The décor is lightly medieval, the atmosphere relaxed, and the superb food a mix of European and Belarusian (delicious soups and draniki, filling enough for a meal). There's a dazzling array of inventive fish and meat dishes.

    Our favorite place in Minsk

    canytech recommends this,

    A serene and dignified place to eat excellent food. Our servers have always been kind, and we have enjoyed each of our many visits there. While more expensive than the average restaurant in Minsk, this is not an expensive place. My wife and I usually eat together for the equivalent of about 40 or 50 US dollars.

    Our favorite main dish is the syomga (salmon) cooked in parchment.
