Lonely Planet review
If you want no surprises and no hassles, you won't be disappointed with Hotel Minsk. Service is everything it should be - no more, no less - while the smallish, Western-standard, chain-style rooms are exactly what you'd expect.
Hotel Minsk currently has very little local competition in its price range, and so it may seem expensive for what are rather typical Western-standard rooms. The decor is a vision in inoffensive beige: beige paint, beige carpet, beige bedspreads. Staff are helpful and well-trained. Free use of the small gym and saunas (both hot and dry) is included, as well as a decent buffet breakfast, making the hotel a better deal than it seems at first glance.
