The Archaeology Department Rest House has fairly basic but decent rooms. If you just show up, chances are excellent that you’ll be allowed to stay because there is no other accommodation in Gaud, barring some extremely basic rooms above an equally basic restaurant where the bus stops near the Bangladeshi border post.
