I want to come to Dhaka to get a new one in June. Does anyone know if its simple process for a foreigner to this? I am Irish and want to get it over as quickly as possible so I can get back to India.
Any help would be much appreciated

Do note that I'm travelling with a 9 year old child - though she is low maintenance and doesn't need anything special. We would like to stay somewhere clean and reasonably priced. Any suggestions?

Hi, Just bought an air ticket to Dhaka for 18 days in May. Looking at the websites it looks like a VOA should be no problem. But it seems to only be $51 whereas getting a tourist visa from the Bangladeshi embassy costs $160. This makes me uneasy: why would anyone pay that extra ninety dollars?
