Lonely Planet review
A great place to meet other foreign travellers, Pacific is about as close to a backpackers haven as you get in this part of Dhaka, even though prices aren’t rock bottom. Staff members are welcoming, very helpful and speak decent English, and there’s free internet and wi-fi for all guests. The cheapest rooms are windowless and slightly musty, so it’s worth paying Tk 100 more for a window. Hot showers and sit-down toilets are standard.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Pacific and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Dhaka.
