The Savalan’s upstairs rooms are somewhat rough with shared bathroom. However, the neatly tiled minisuites are clean and come with hot shower. Being hidden at the back they’re somewhat shielded from traffic rumble.

This very central, decomposing 10-storey tower block has rooms ranging from nasty to appallingly unkempt. Water comes in fill-it-yourself buckets and toilets haven’t flushed in years.
