Lonely Planet review
English-speaking owner Sarasar (Saro) Saryan is an enthusiastic host and knows much about Shushi’s history. He is also the president of the Union for Armenian Refugees. His tranquil home has large rooms and a garden out back. It’s in the lower part of Shushi near the hospital but Saro can usually be found at his office in the Municipality. Staying here is a great opportunity to experience traditional village life in Karabakh.
Our independent authors have visited Saro’s B&B and selected this as one of our recommended guesthouses in Shushi.
