This historic two-storey caravanserai wraps its alcoved stone walls around a colourful coverable courtyard featuring two dwarf fig trees and a trickling fruit fountain. It's very photogenic and the Azerbaijani food is good but prices are steep and this is a place that's squarely aimed at feasting groups rather than individuals or couples.
Some evenings from 8pm there's a dinner show (adds 15% to your bill). This might be wailing Muğam or an impressive cabaret showcasing various Caucasian musical and dance styles. Book ahead.
