Lonely Planet review for Bibi

By far the nicest place in Baku for Persian cuisine, the Bibi offers live but unobtrusive music in its spacious double dining hall with olde-worlde tulip-chandeliers and rush-matting to soften the ceilings. Try the kəşki badımcan (eggplant with Iranian whey; AZN4).

    Very Good Place for Dinner

    The food is excellent.There are more than 5 kinds of plov ( Plov is a meal made from rice) with different garnishes.I highly reccomend you to taste sturgeon .It is a fish which lives only in the Caspian Sea.It is without bones and very tasty.They serve it with special sauce called narsherab.It is made from grape.This restaurant also have its own made bread, which is always fresh and hot.
    After 9.p.m. there is a live national music.
    Service is also of high quality.The waiters speak english, russian and turkish.
