Lonely Planet review for Palais Auersperg

Palais Auersperg dates from about 1708. In the 1720s it received a baroque makeover from Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt, of Schloss Belvedere fame. Today the only way to view its splendid baroque interior is to receive an invitation to one of the opulent functions often held here.
