Beethoven Eroicahaus information
For the brief time Beethoven spent at Eroicahaus (the summer of 1803), his work production was grandiose: it was here that he wrote Symphony No 3, Eroica . The house is rather empty, however, and no personal effects of the great composer are present, but you can listen to Eroica and gaze at a few watercolours and maps. The Eroicahaus is a municipal museum, and is open by appointment only.
