Lonely Planet review for Beethoven Eroicahaus

For the brief time Beethoven spent at Eroicahaus (the summer of 1803), his work production was grandiose: it was here that he wrote Symphony No 3, Eroica. The house is rather empty, however, and no personal effects of the great composer are present, but you can listen to Eroica and gaze at a few watercolours and maps. The Eroicahaus is a municipal museum, and is open by appointment only.
