Edlmoser is run by a dynamic young winemaker Michael Edlmoser, who apprenticed under California’s highly respected Ridge Winery; his outward-looking attitude blends with a deep love of Austrian tradition to create what he calls cult wines. These are served in a four-centuries-old house with clean lines, modern wood furnishings and a superb swath of yellow fabric covering a vine-lined garden – a fusion of old and new, just like the wines.
