Hi everyone

I will be in Vienna for 3 nights next week, I am on a tight budget. I have a few questions to check with you.
1)The below are the attractions I want to see. Are these all withing walking distance of the other? My hostel is next to the Naschmarkt.
2) Are there cheap authentic food places close to these attractions or the Naschmarkt which I can try good local food? Can you name a few please? For savouries and sweets.

Hi everyone here,

I've been looking for a trip to Vienna, wish to come true in December this year for a while.

I wonder that how many days i should stay in Vienna to feel the city like a citizen. For a rough sketch, I wish to visit some museums, pavilion; shop in Christmas Markets, and listen some masterpiece Opera and Classical Music Concerts.

The long and short of it, How many days i should stay in Vienna to feel the city and see most important masterpieces?

Should it be 4 days? Or 5 days?

Hello, my partner and I are planning a 7 day via ferrata trip to Austria in early August and would like to know if there are any routes that people would recommend? We will probably be choosing B/C rates routes and will have a hire car so can travel around easily. It would be great to hear also of any recommended campsites / homestay accommodation. Many thanks! Ruth

Hello!

I'll be visiting Vienna early October for a couple of days and would love to attend a ballet or a classical concert (recitals, choir, etc.) I'm in no way an expert in classical music but I've always wanted to go to a proper show and Vienna is famed for it.

I would love to hear any recommendations and reviews since there are so many places to do it. From a quick search, I've found this website (https://www.viennaconcerts.com/concerts) and this (www.viennaclassic.com/en/) but again, there…

Hello,

I am making my first visit to Vienna the first week of October, staying for about 2.5 days. I'll be traveling solo. Would love recommendations on neighborhoods for staying in while I'm there. Something that is not touristy but is accessible to the sites as it is my first visit and I will not have a car. Is airBnB an option there? Or am I better off with a hotel? I'm hearing mixed things about airBnB in Europe in the sense that some cities are cracking down on it.

My main interests while…

Hi,

My friend and I will be travelling to Austria from the 14th to the 19th of July and would greatly appreciate some tips on where to go.

We will be staying 2 days in Innsbruck, 1 day in Salzburg and 3 days in Vienna and mainly, we are after mountainous landscapes, sightseeing /history and some nightlife as well.

Furthermore, how's the weather during the abovementioned period?

Any tips and recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

I know that must of the Hut in Austria include food, but I am vegetarian for many years - didn't prevent me to do mountaineering and climbing ;). From what I have read, it could be forbidden to cook your own food in a hut to respect the rules, and the fact that they bring you food up there!

Any experience or recommendation regarding your own cooking? Can I decided to not pay for a meal, and cook one myself before reaching the hut, worst case scenario? Seems a bit rude, but would do if no…
