Ars Electronica's rival icon across the Danube is the rectangular glass-and-steel Lentos, also strikingly illuminated by night. The gallery guards one of Austria's finest modern-art collections, including works by Warhol, Schiele, Klimt, Kokoschka and Lovis Corinth, which sometimes feature in the large-scale exhibitions.
There are one-hour guided tours in German at 7pm on Thursdays and 4pm on Sundays, and 30-minute tours in English at 4pm on the first Saturday of the month. Or download the Lentos app at http://app.lentos.at.
