Getting there & away
St Veit is 33km south of Friesach and 20km north of Klagenfurt. Hourly express trains run to Villach (€9.30, 45 minutes), stopping at Friesach (€7.60, 25 minutes) and Klagenfurt (€4.40, 20 minutes). There are no left-luggage lockers at the station, but staff can usually help out.
Frequent Postbus services run to Klagenfurt, Maria Saal and Friesach.
