Radstadt is on the route of two-hourly IC trains running between Innsbruck and Graz, both about three hours away. Zell am See (€13.10, 80 minutes) and Bruck an der Mur (€24.30, 2½ hours) are on this route. From Radstadt, Hwy 99 climbs to the dramatic Radstädter Tauern Pass (1739m), then over to Carinthia. Just to the west is the A10/E55, which avoids the high parts by going through a 6km tunnel.
