Subiaco Hotel
The Subi’s a local favourite and the institution of choice for a morning coffee with the papers or a pre-footy beer. It’s popular, too, for a Sunday sundowner or an afternoon of quiet beverages and people-watching.

La Bog
This often jam-packed Irish pub is in Northbridge's backpacker heartland. It may be a package Irish franchise (there's one in Fremantle as well) but it's still a reasonable and popular place to sit and sip on a Guinness amongst friends. Live bands offer a fun night of dancing and the 06:00 close means you can grab an early-morn nightcap.

Subiaco Oval
During the Australian Football League season it’s hard to get footy fans to talk about anything but the two local teams – the Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles. There’s a great atmosphere during the games at Subiaco Oval.

Brass Monkey
This massive pub, built in 1897, boasts several different areas and vibes. Take your pick: sit up on a stool at the bar, lean back in the relaxed beer garden or hunker down on a sofa by the fire. The food’s good, too.
