Introducing Denham

Australia’s most westerly town, laid-back Denham, with its crystal-clear water and charming beachfront, makes a decent base for visiting the marine park, nearby François Peron National Park and Monkey Mia, 26km away. Originally established as a pearling town, they say pearl shell was used to pave Denham’s streets. All you’ll see is bitumen these days, but some shell-brick buildings still stand.
