Enjoy a fun-filled day in the Swan Valley on this small-group food and wine tour from Perth. Traveling by air-conditioned coach, you’ll visit nine of the region’s most delicious locations.

Morning Tour - Sweet Treats
Start by tasting exotic coffee blends from around the world at Yahava Koffee Works. Sample chocolate-coated coffee beans and ‘koffee toffee,’ and take a behind-the-scenes look at the coffee-roasting process. A coffee break wouldn’t be complete without a sweet treat -- visit Cape Lavender to enjoy lavender scones with jam and cream, accompanied by refreshing lavender tea and unique lavender wine!

Then, give your palate a bit of a kick with a savory experience at Mago Coffee. Try delicate Western Australian olive oils, dry roasted nuts and flavored dukkahs (Middle Eastern spice mix). Then go next door for a chocolate fix at the Margaret River Chocolate Company.

Wash everything down with a visit to Windy Creek Estate. Here, sample award-winning premium and fortified wines, including the renowned white port, accompanied by West Australian cheeses and a range of homemade jams and chutneys.

Meet the beekeepers at Windarra Honey and see the busy bees at work. Taste a range of varietal honeys including creamed honey and even sparkling honey water! For dessert, head to Oggie’s Ice Cream Cafe, where you can sample the homemade ice cream and purchase a selection of English sweets. Finish up with stop at Mondo Nougat for more sweet treats and a behind-the-scenes view of production.

The mid-week morning tours will visit the Aboriginal Gallery to sample authentic Australian bush tucker jams, sauces and chutneys made from native Australian food plants. On Saturday and Sunday, the morning tour will visit an awarded farm stall where you can pick seasonal produce such as grapes from the vine and asparagus from the patch!

Afternoon Tour- Savory Delights

This tour follows the morning itinerary and then changes to a savory route at the winery visit. In the afternoon you will sample Swan Valley’s finest wines at Jarrah Ridge Wines. The winery produces excellent white, red and sparkling – you’ll be spoiled for choice! Save some room for the marinated olives, cheeses, pan forte, fruit paste and dried fruits and nuts.

Then visit the House of Honey where you can chat with the bee keepers and find out all the secrets to producing honey and sample this season’s finest. Pass by a farm stall where you can stock up on fresh seasonal produce direct from the growers. End your tour with an icy cold beer, alcoholic or non-alcoholic ginger beer or cider at internationally multi-award-winning Ironbark Brewery. The brewery boasts the largest range of beers in the Valley – 45 at the last count! Here your speed-grazing moves into a leisurely mode where you have time to relax, enjoy your drinks and try one the brewery’s famous wood-fired pizzas (own expense).
