  2. Melbourne is probably best known for its blockbusters: the arts centre, the MCG and Federation Square. But the city keeps its best secrets the coolest bars, cafes and street art hidden in the laneways of the CBD that are at the heart of the city’s cultural renaissance. Robbie Buck rolls up his sleeves and makes his mark on the world capital of street stencil art.

  5. This travel video to Mildura shows why it has topped the list of Australia’s tastiest food safaris, with HG Nelson meeting up with legendary chef and exponent of the Slow Food movement, Stefano de Pieri. Stefano sends him out on a shopping expedition that requires HG to get up close and personal with the region’s produce for a cook up on the iconic Murray River.

  8. Every December, the Meredith Music Festival rocks country Victoria on a patch of dirt an hour out of Melbourne. It's 72 hours of folk, rock, garage and punk music and inbetween, everyone sleeps wherever and however they can - usually with earplugs. It's a relaxed atmosphere but some take fashion on the fields very seriously! Animal costumes are not uncommon but I personally recommend a pair of high-cred gumboots.
