The Hotel Mildura is a lovely old building, recently refurbished, with excellent facilities and in-room comforts - broadband Internet, free cable TV, fridge and minibar. There are spa suites, self-contained apartments, a pool, bars and a restaurant. With a great central location the Hotel Mildura is hard to beat in this price bracket.

Built in 1925, the Hotel Mildura has a grand colonial-era facade and a heritage-listed tower that is an iconic landmark on the Mildura skyline. The original old elevator still functions and is a lovely feature. The refitted interior is rather muted and business-like, and maybe lacks the personality befitting such a grand old dame, but on the whole she still presents herself very well. Hotel Mildura pitches itself at business travellers with conference facilities and a function centre, but it also offers great-value packages for couples and families.
