Itinerary

Day 1 Broome/Windjana Gorge

Visit the famous Boab Prison Tree then hit the bumpy Gibb River Road to reach towering rocks at Windjana Gorge. Home to freshwater crocodiles, birdlife and native flora, Windjana Gorge is an example of Mother Nature at her rugged best. Tour through Tunnel Creek's secret caves and relax in a cool waterhole.

Day 2 Mt Barnett Cattle Station

Bliss out among cascading waterfalls and fresh pools of clear water at Bell Gorge. Travel to Mt Barnett Cattle Station and enjoy an afternoon trek into Manning Falls. Revel in an explosion of cool water, Australian wildlife and scenic landscapes. Tonight, camp by a billabong and sleep in outback serenity.

Days 3-4 El Questro

Travel to the spectacular El Questro Cattle Station and marvel at the space and diversity of the land. Soaking in thermal pools at Zebedee Springs is the perfect way to recharge for a hike through Emma Gorge. There are also plenty of opportunities for adventure around El Questro including scenic flights and horse riding.

Day 5 Kununurra/Lake Argyle

Spend a few hours exploring Kununurra then camp on the shores of Lake Argyle - Australia's largest body of fresh water. Join an optional sunset boat tour to experience the lake's vast glory. For a glimpse of the past visit the historic Durack Homestead Museum. Alternatively, hike through one of the many bush trails in the area.

Days 6-7 Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Ranges)

Discover a place so remote that outsiders only discovered it in the early 1980s - Purnululu National Park, home of the famous Bungle Bungle Ranges. Marvel at the extraordinary striped 'beehive' domes, explore Echidna Chasm and Cathedral Gorge. Sleep in another rustic Aussie outback camp.

Day 8 Fitzroy Crossing

Admire the remarkable China Wall quartz vein in the town of Halls Creek. After lunch, visit a remote Indigenous art gallery to view a collection of local artists' work. Spend the evening camping by the idyllic Fitzroy River.

Day 9 Geikie Gorge/Broome

A leisurely morning cruise to spot crocs through majestic Geikie Gorge caps off this Wild Kimberley tour. Carved by nature millions of years ago, Geikie Gorge is a great place to spot wildlife. Travel to Broome with a host of colourful memories.
