Itinerary
Days 1-2 Hobart/Strahan
Welcome to Tasmania! Head south to the photogenic Tasman Peninsula and discover the chilling realities of life as a convict amid the sandstone prison buildings of Port Arthur. Visit a Tasmanian conservation park on the way back to Hobart.
Day 3 Cradle Mountain/Launceston
Spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within this World Heritage listed national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake, or head off to test your lungs with a hike to Marion's Lookout.
Day 4 Launceston/Bicheno
Soak up the coastal scenery from Bicheno to St Helens. Stretch legs and revitalise senses on a peaceful walk at the Bay of Fires. Explore rainforests and visit St Columba Falls, before heading into the leafy city of Launceston.
Day 5 Freycinet National Park/Hobart
Explore the Freycinet Peninsula and hike to Wineglass Bay, voted one of the world's top ten beaches. This beach is loved as much by the sun-seeking wallabies as it is by the local surfers. For the active, there's the option for further exploration of this pristine area in a kayak. Overnight in Bicheno.
