Quirky Onba is a bit of everything – brilliant breakfast cafe, great lunchtime cook-house and happenin’ evening tapas and wine bar. Local art adorns the walls and food-art is done in the kitchen. Buy a coffee (or anything) and get 30 minutes complimentary wi-fi.

    Best mussel pot ever!

    A tassie cousin told me this was the place to get dressed up and go out for a cocktail and good honest food, so off we went one friday night and she was bang on the money!it was busy, but they fitted us in without a fuss, the bar guy new his stuff and you don't get the impression you're part of a production line. Had yummy duck liver pate and rum jelly and the most amazing mussle pots, with lots of fries and aoli on the side. Its a funny upstairs, downstairs place and I loved the relaxed couches and atmosphere. Super cool place, will go back on my next tassie trip.
