The newest of Darling Harbour’s attractions costs a pretty penny, but it’s a cut above the rest. And if you don’t have time to truck out to Taronga Zoo, this is your chance to check out some Aussie critters. Nine different habitats with 1km of walkways give you a sense of how wild life really is for koalas, wallabies, birds, butterflies and reptiles (among others). Feedings and demonstrations happen throughout the day. You’ll save around $10 on a combined ticket with the Sydney Aquarium next door.
