Paddington Markets information
A cultural experience, these quirky, long-running markets turn Saturdays in Paddington into pandemonium. Originating in the 1970s, Paddington Markets were a beacon for larrikin artists and artisans, punks, skinheads, patchouli-scented hippies and fledgling fashion designers. It's a tad more mainstream now, but still worth checking out for its new and vintage clothing, creative crafts, jewellery, food, palm reading and holistic treatments.
