Lonely Planet review for Bathers’ Pavilion
Spanish Mission–style architecture, harbour views and outstanding food collide at one of Sydney’s most enduringly popular restaurants. The seasonal menu focuses on produce from small local providers, with plenty of seafood; there’s also a full vegetarian menu. Under the same roof, Bathers’ Café opens for breakfast at 7am, serving equally scrumptious fare at more democratic prices.

Bathers at Balmoral
kgamble recommends this,
If the price of a lunch or dinner is a bit beyond the budget, the popular Bathers kiosk can deliver an awesome cup of take away espresso. Grab one and stroll the beach like a local.
Taking the ferry over to Mosman from the City is spectacular and Mosman its self is a world away from the busy metropolitan CBD.
Balmoral Beach must be the heart of Mosman, if you are there in the morning you will see joggers, swimmers and other locals making the most of the sun rise over the heads in the distance. Take a walk on the island and check out the breathtaking view of Manly in the distance.
If your budget can stretch to a meal at Bathers then breaky is the best one to be at, try the Belgian Hot Chocolate for a taste sensation! Take a swim or walk off the meal along the corso when your done.
