    Bathers’ Pavilion

Spanish Mission–style architecture, harbour views and outstanding food collide at one of Sydney’s most enduringly popular restaurants. The seasonal menu focuses on produce from small local providers, with plenty of seafood; there’s also a full vegetarian menu. Under the same roof, Bathers’ Café opens for breakfast at 7am, serving equally scrumptious fare at more democratic prices.

    Green Gourmet

Green Gourmet is a self-serve, pay-per-kilo, kind-to-animals eatery, plating up Chinese-Malaysian vegetarian food at affordable prices. On weekends, grab a few morsels of cruelty-free yum cha and wash it all down with one of the excellent teas on offer. Alcohol-free, too.

    Pure Wholefoods

This wholefood minimart has a great little street cafe serving organic vegetarian goodies, including flavoursome flans, salads, nori rolls, cakes, cookies, wraps, burgers and smoothies. Vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free purists are also catered for. Laid-back Latino-brass soundtrack and suntanned staff.
