Lonely Planet review for Bills

Sydney adores Bill Granger (aka Mr Scrambled Egg) and his original sunny eatery with its newspaper-strewn communal table. Dishes such as sweet-corn fritters served with roast tomato, spinach and bacon are equally adorable. Can’t get a seat? Head for bills in Surry Hills or Woollahra.

    corn fritters!

    djebru recommends this,

Bills is a great spot for breakfast - i can't go past the corn fritters, they're delicious. Also has good coffee (for Sydney...). A good way to get a gourmet meal on a budget.

    Go the pancakes

    zelly recommends this,

The light, fluffy pancakes, simply done, were delicious and although I liked the look of the scrambled eggs I protected my pancakes quietly, guarding my delicious secret to the very end. The place isn't overdone in style or price (for its reputation) and stacks up in doing the simple things well - clean, brisk, attentive staff and tasty brunches.

    Skip dinner

    ms_mim recommends this,

While it's open for dinner this really is a place for breakfast and brunch. Dinner is quite average in comparison. The famous corn fritters are superb but unfortunately the wait staff are little too cool for school.
