A new concept for Sydney, Toko dishes up delicious modern Japanese tapas - such as a superb soft shell crab (around A$16) and eggplant with miso (around A$9). Expect to spend upwards of around A$30 a meal, more if you're a sashimi junkie. Check out the brilliant lighting feature made of chopsticks in the so-cool-it-hurts cocktail bar.

    The best place for a special occasion in Sydney

    Toko is my favourite 'treat' restaurant in all of Sydney - perfect for special occasions, romantic dinners, and there is a really cute seperate area for groups (around 12-15 people I think?)

    If you get a chance to go come early on the weekends because you cant book, ask for a seat near the sushi or bbq kitchens and watch the chefs prepare your delectable meals in front of you!

    Cocktail list was extensive but not the best... however I am not an expert so possibly we just made some bad choices?!

    Its not cheap either (around $200 for two easy) but it is well worth saving up for!
