The crazy bald guy has taken a leaf from Willy Wonka's book. Shiny copper pipes lead to big vats of liquid heaven, while shelves bulge with all sorts of tempting treats to takeaway. Try the warm chocolate fondue for two, served with fruit, banana bread and marshmallows (around A$16), or just sneak in for a coffee and brownie.

    Sweet chocolate heaven

    Max Brenner Chocolate is a 100% Israeli-owned company belonging to the Strauss Group, the second largest Israeli food and beverage company. Under "corporate responsibility" the Strauss Group emphasises the support it gives to the Israeli army saying it wants to "sweeten their special moment". It supports the Golani reconnaissance platoon known for its murderous assaults on Palestinian civilians.

    could anything be better than a chocolate shop- but not your usual, average old choccy shop.
    Their hot chocolates are like liquid gold-and just as thick!So many different chocolate food choices too...you just have to visit, its great!

    Can there be another place like the choc-o-holics heaven created by Max Brenner. The strawberries dipped in choc are devine. Hot chocolates galore that make sure you have to return to try another flavour.
    Be warned Max Brenner is addictive and likely to make you want to come back for more.

    Take a hot chocolate break from shopping!

    Paddington has funky clothes shops and some really cool local designers. Max's is the perfect place to stop and chill out with a hot chocolate and then continue shopping!
