Lonely Planet review for BBQ King
Chinatown’s favourite late-night spot to chow down is low on frills but big on flavour, with royal portions of roast duck, suckling pig and other Cantonese staples. Open until 2am, it’s popular with late-night revellers and chefs who come for a bottle of Tsingtao once their own kitchens have closed.

It's all about the Duck
meganb_aussie recommends this,
Ok, so it's not one of Sydney's classy establishments, but the people in the know head to BBQ King for their great Chinese fare - particularly the Peking Duck. For $70 you'll get enough duck (San Choy Bow and Duck Pancakes) to happily feed 3 people. It's BYO so bring a bottle from the bottle-o on the corner, and dig into it!
There's a reason that Sydney's Chefs retire here at the end of a long night.Good for: food, Budget Travellers, Groups

I love BBQ King!
alison33 recommends this,
A great place for a rowdy and hungry group. We have had many fun filled nights out on the town followed by a tasty meal at any hour. The food is great, tasty, lots of it, and quick to arrive. Its not the classiest joint though - don't go there on a first date!

Old School Charm

The BBQ aroma and sight of BBQ'd ducks hanging in the window have made this a Sydney Chinatown institution. Worth trying at least once!
