Kilimanjaro’s cosy vibe, carved wooden bowls, saffron aromas and colourfully clad staff will raise your appetite high above the Serengeti. Authentic West African dishes like the Domoda (boneless chicken steamed with subtle spices – ‘quite succulent’) are utterly filling. The Africa mural on the alleyway wall is craftily impressive.

    Food expensive & minimal, water $5.50 - steer clear!

    abbaau does not recommend this,

    Le Kilimanjaro Newtown = $5.50 for water - then BIG attitude and insistence to leave quickly - even after spending more then $50 for a meal - criminal! NOT IMPRESSED! Friendlier options - even for African, elsewhere in Newtown. CASH only - not impressed!
