Taxi
A short ride between the city and the inner suburbs will cost around $25; to/from the airport from $30 to $40.
Taxis can be flagged down when their top-light is aglow. There are patrolled Friday/Saturday night taxi ranks around town, including one on Park St, between Pitt and Castlereagh Sts, and at Central, Wynyard and Circular Quay stations.
