Lonely Planet review for Friend in Hand Hotel

This early-opening place has changed the rules of what’s supposed to happen in an Australian pub. Sure, you can drink all the beer you want, but don’t be surprised when the eating competitions, water-pistol fights, crab racing, life drawing, stand-up comedians, poetry, cheesy Joel/John piano men and hula-hoop spin offs cut into your drinking time.
