Stepping in the door here you’ll feel as though you’ve put your head inside an enormous chandelier – sparkling racks of steins dangle above the central bar, waiting to be filled with litres of Löwenbrau. With over 20 handmade beers available, this place should keep you off the streets for a while. Pull up a stool among the international crew and work your way through the much-awarded list. If things start to slip away from you, slow your descent with the excellent bar food (mains $17 to $32; tasting boards matched with four beer samples $20).
