Since 1975 the ACO has been making chamber music sexy and adventurous, especially under the tutelage of artistic director and lead violinist Richard Tognetti. Concerts are staged throughout the year at both the Sydney Opera House and the City Recital Hall. Cheaper tickets are often available for the under 30s.
