As long as you can swim, you can hire a kayak from this stand near Oceanworld. You’ll be provided with a life jacket, paddling instruction and tips on secluded beaches to visit. Three-hour kayak tours $70.

    Kayak around the harbour for a new perspective

    One of the most fun and original ways to enjoy Sydney's Harbour and quite easy too. Kayak at your own paddle speed.No need to be the sporty type to enjoy it, I'm not.

    One of my most memorable experiences of Sydney was Kayaking around, enjoying the scenery and finding hidden coves to stop and swim. Now I recommend it to everyone.

    You can also do these Kayak trips from Rose Bay.

    Oh, and wear sunscreen!
