Regional Express (13 17 13) and O’Connor Airlines (13 13 13, 08-8723 0666) fly daily between Adel­aide and Mt Gambier.

Dukes Hwy provides the most direct route between Adelaide and Melbourne (729km), via Bordertown, but the coastal Princes Hwy route, which runs adjacent to the Coorong National Park, is definitely more scenic.
