    With a fine reputation for bistro dining, there's a good mix of dishes here with plenty of seafood on offer. Great views over the water and full table service make for dining excellence. It won the 'Best Bistro in Australia' award from the Australian Hotels Association a couple of years ago and standards have been maintained.

    Kick back on the back seat of an old car or under wall-mounted flying brass instruments at this eclectic, retro pub with its rustic mod-oz look. There's live music, particularly jazz. The menu ain't cheap but it has some beauties such as blue-swimmer crab linguine and saltimbocca breast of hen.

    Great-value bar meals are served with a casual vibe to a mixed crowd at this grungy pub with a suitably dark front bar, brighter eating area and bare bones beer garden. It serves food all afternoon and the wonderful James Squire beers are on tap.
