    Well Below Par :(((

    FidelmaB does not recommend this,

Liked the decor and the golf was fun. But my opinion of this place sunk quicker than your heart when your ball ends up in the bunker! This place must run on one-off visitors because I can't see how it attracts repeat business. We were pointed to (not shown to) our table (Tables 1 & 2 in the Beer Garden - truly uncomfortable!) and told menus would be brought to us. They arrived some minutes later but we weren't told we had to go to the counter to order and pay for our food. We realised this ourselves after a while - the service at the counter was unbelievably slow. My sister ordered pizza and was told she couldn't have it because 'it would take too long' (??) despite the fact that 3 of us had ordered steaks! Our meals arrived 1 hour and 35 minutes later and certainly were not worth the wait. My Rump steak was so thin it could have been frying steak and was dry. The 'side salad' consisted of one tiny piece of cos lettuce and some cucumber and capsicum, oh, and one sliver of tomato. My husband asked for vegetables instead of salad and we were charged $2 extra for one piece of broccoli, cauliflower, a tiny piece of corn and zucchini (I had requested carrots and peas). My cousin ordered Caesar salad and paid $3 extra for some chicken - good job she did because it was basically a plate of Cos lettuce and nothing much else. Everyone was still hungry as the portions were miserly. We asked for dessert menus which we got but when we went to order were told that we couldn't have dessert because the kitchen was closed!!! Hardly surprising since it was so damn late. Absolutely disgusted with this place and will spread the word to make sure my friends, family and others don't have their birthday celebrations ruined like this. Bad, Bad service and terrible food. Huge thumbs down { : (

    Interesting and quirky theme pub

    drifting_adam recommends this,

If you cross a pub and a theme park you get the Tap Inn. Good range of beers and many different sections, including the restaurant (specialising in TAPas), the bar (with many good beers on tap), the entrance hall (with an odd array of water taps flowing into a fountain) and a functioning golf range. Also a silver service restaurant with famous transluscent toilet doors (when you close the door it frosts over to provide privacy).

The space is extremely designed, but a feast for the eyes and one of the most unique pubs in Adelaide. It's sister pub "The Bombay Bicycle Club" gives a similar treatment to Rudyard Kipling-era India (in Ovingham, just north of the suburb of North Adelaide)
