Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways
About 110km southwest of Winton is the startling Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways, where you’ll see dinosaur footprints in a prehistoric streambed beneath a manmade sheltered walkway. It requires imagination, a guided tour (and a packed lunch!), but is nonetheless a humbling travel experience. Contact the Waltzing Matilda Centre at Winton to book tours.
