Located 20 km from the township of Dunwich, Whale Watch Resort features direct beach access via a private pathway. Its spacious self-contained apartments include indoor and outdoor living areas.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the apartments feature 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Each apartment has a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a washing machine.
Guests can take a relaxing dip in the outdoor pool, or enjoy a massage at the spa. Other leisure facilities include a gym and games room. Barbecue facilities are also available for guests’ use.
Whale Watch Resort is a 5-minute walk from the Point Lookout Surf Club, which also has restaurants and a grocery store. Captain Cook's Lookout is 500 metres away.
To get to the resort, guests can take a 20-minute drive from Brisbane to the Cleveland ferry terminal, followed by a 45-minute water taxi or barge ride to Dunwich.
All apartments at Whale Watch Resort are 3-bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms. Guests booking a 1-bedroom apartment or a 2-bedroom apartment will have no access to the third bedroom. In this case, a 1-bedroom apartment will come with 1 bathroom, while a 2-bedroom apartment will have 2 bathrooms.
Guests who book a 1-bedroom apartment and want access to the other bathroom can do so by request with an additional cost.
