Kuranda Rainforest Park
Lonely Planet review
This excellent, well-tended park lives up to its name, with grassy camping sites enveloped in rainforest. The basic but cosy private ‘backpacker rooms’ open onto a tin-roofed timber deck, cabins come with poolside or garden views, and there’s a Sri Lankan restaurant on site. It’s a 10-minute walk from town via a forest trail.
