Will be arriving in the Sydney airport (SYD) at 7am on a Sunday and would like to get a SIM card for my unlocked iPhone as soon as possible.
Would a store be open at that time in the airport that could sell me one?
Is there a way to organize buying one in advance and having it mailed to me in the states or maybe have it delivered to my hotel prior to our arrival?
I'm thinking of taking myself on a self-guided trek along the Larapinta.
I haven't done any real bushwalking before but I'm pretty fit 4x5km run and 2 weights sessions a week. I also knocked over a marathon a few years back so I can tough it out.
But I'm also a 54 year old woman with a limited sense of direction and I'll be on my lonesome.
How hard is it and would the experience be Wolf Creek scary?
Thanks in advance!
I'm going to travel from Melbourne strait to Brisbane, and from there cruising all the way along the coast to Cape York....

I basically have the question:

My husband and I are visiting Australia for the first time and it will actually be my first international trip as well! We are arriving from California on March 30 through April 14. We will be in Sydney from March 30 - April 6, then heading to Airlie Beach from April 6-April 9 and then driving up to the blue Mountains from April 9th through April 11th and then back to Sydney until our departure on the 14th. I've been monitoring the weather and it looks like on some days there will be…
I am planning to go to Australia in april on a working holiday visa.
I want to do 88 days rural work so I can get my second year working visa.
I do have some questions.
- In which area/city can I find fulltime rural jobs in april that pay well?
- Is there enough rural work from april-juni/juli?
I prefer going to places with nice weather, where it is not to hot or to cold.
I also prefer to work in a farm/place where more then 1/2 backpackers work.
Does anyone have tips?
Looking to fly from UK to Perth, there rent a van and drive to Sydney, from there fly to Uluru and then onto Cairns. Once there drive down east coast ending up in Brisbane. Just wondering if this would be possible to do in a month or would we be rushing to get to places
Been thinking about it for a while and I have decided I want to go to Australia when I finish university.
Il be 22 years old and finish uni on the 8th of May this year and il most likely be free until September. Could possibly have a year but most likely be looking for a grad job September time. Il be travelling solo.
I'm a bit undecided as to what I should do in terms of should I travel or go for a working visa.

Thinking of doing the Gordon River cruise in April but not sure whether to do the full or half day trip. Do you see / do more on the full day cruise?
Also is it worth purchasing the dearer seats?
Has anyone of you guys ever booked with campervanfinder.com.au? If yes, how did you experience everything? They seem to have excellent language skills... so that conversation on needs is perfect...but how about everything after booking?
